The space

Curl up in bed with an espresso made coffee and watch the cattle graze the paddock while the little indoor fire roars. Every window has a breathtaking view of the valley and bushland. It truly is the cutest cosiest hut!
There is so much to do close by, making this the perfect place to do it all or do nothing at all. We have everything here you need to relax.

Although from the outside it may look like an old little style hut, you may be deceived. We have added sparks of luxury throughout. We better add that our toilet is flushing for those of you who like the idea of country living but not that country living!

Our favourite features are the huge copper shower head and bathroom underfloor heating for the colder months. The outdoor bath is the real showstopper, able to fit 2 people. You can enjoy it during the day or night watching the stars with some music going and the candles lit. A very romantic scene.

Cleves hut does not have a television or WIFI but does have phone reception so you are able to hotspot. We have supplied a bluetooth speaker to enjoy your favourite tunes and board games to play with your loved one.

Winter is all about cuddling up in bed listening to the crackling sounds of the fire. Our Mini meg wood burner inside came all the way from New Zealand, she's just the sweetest!

Our sister accommodation ( Sylvie's hut ) is located in the same 70-acre paddock, roughly 200m from each other with a private outlook over the field. Due to the contours of the land, you can only just see the top of the solar panels from both huts. Our priority is to ensure that all of our guests will have 100% privacy. With the directions from us you can explore a private area of the Blackwood River right from your font gate.

Shared driveway/entrance from the main road into the paddock with sister accomodation (Sylvie's hut)

To reach Cleves Hut, a short drive off the main road awaits. This path includes a delightful venture through the countryside, involving opening and closing two sets of gates for a true farm experience. The first set of gates leads from the main road and veers right, followed by another gate allowing you to park conveniently close to Cleves Hut.

We have taken precautions to protect your vehicle by enclosing the hut from grazing cattle, ensuring a safe parking area within the second gate. This access is suitable for all vehicles, including 2-wheel drives.
With the directions from us you can explore a private area of the Blackwood River right from your font gate of Cleves hut.

Other things to note

Unfortunately Cleves hut is not suitable for pets and are a danger to livestock. Use of this property, including the river, bushwalking, exploring the grounds, any interaction with farm animals & wildlife is at guests own risk.
